Theres a damn Blueberry at Berry.....

I look like a blue berry....I don't really want to even share this, but facing it is part of this process......UGH!  Years ago,  I had this really nice jogging suit/windbreaker suit type,  in baby blue,  and one day LaWayne mistakenly labeled it "The BlueBerry".... and I never put it back on....actually gave it away.....I knew I was gaining,  just well, he loved me, so what did I care?.... well...My BONES CARE!  MY HEART CARES!   My family that loves me so much that we eat all the TIME CARES!  So,  Here's "There's a Damn Blueberry at Berry" take 1.....

Disclosure......or a Pre-apology of sorts......

Not that I would owe ANYONE any apology,  but I tend to get very excited and nervous, and excited nervous, or nervous excited.... I am truly overwhelmed with the blessing of being able to get to have this surgery,  and now in my life when I really can make a difference.  I long to hike,  kayak (yes, with you OLE' FREDY RED)... and just be active again.  I was always active... and I want it BACK!  NO more being limited to sitting on the sidelines... I want to be OUT THERE!  So in the next two weeks,  There is probably going to be a lot of post,  and there may not be... just gonna have to indulge me.......and stay tuned....My best is yet to come!

Where we are today.....Monday October 17th

I am two weeks to the day from having surgery.  Tomorrow I meet with Jason,  Dr. Scotts assistant, and do the pre-op and get my shakes that I will be "eating" for the next two weeks.   I am a good bit nervous, and trying to stay calm,  I have been busy at work, and when home between phone calls to Andrea, and facebook post,  I have been looking at ideas of things to eat in the stage 2... puree !!  Doesn't that sound YUMMO!  Well,  it is what it is......SOOOOOOOO.... I got out my Magic Bullet,  ONLY 49.95 at Your local WALMART!  I will have to say,  this little bogger is bad to the bone.. or anything else you want to pulverize.  Tonight,  for my last "real meal" , LaWayne had grilled steaks, while I did baked potato's and green beans.  It was wonderful, and as he got called away to the hospital to be with his mother,  I played with the Bullet.....made me a steak, potato , green bean, sour cream......OH GOD!  I did finally manage to blend it down enough,  I can see this is where beef broth, chicken broth,  skim milk will come into play,  and I closed my eyes and took a spoonful... actually NOT bad.. BUT JUST DON'T LOOK AT WHAT YOUR EATING!!!
